St. Herman's new home is located at the crossroads of Barry, Eaton and Ionia counties. We are in rural Woodbury, just east of the resort and farming community of Lake Odessa, one block north of the intersection of state highways M-66, M-50 and M-43. Christians have been praying in our beautiful building for over a hundred years, for it was built as a United Brethren church. The building, like many of the people who worship within it, is finding conversion to Orthodoxy a joyful and natural process. Our new church looks like it was built to be an Orthodox church. As of 2007, we are the only Orthodox community of any kind in central Michigan between Lansing and Grand Rapids.
From Grand Rapids and the west Take I-96 east, Take Exit # 67 (M-66 / Ionia-Battle Creek) Go south 6 miles to Woodbury. Cross RR tracks. Make a left onto Maple St., 3rd street after RR tracks Go one block.. (Estimated travel from 28th St.: 32 miles / 35 minutes)

Take I-96 west to M-43 west (exit 23a to Grand Ledge). After the village of Sunfield, M-43 will join M-50. Go west on M-43/M-50 approx. 1 mile to M-66. At M-66, make a right (go north). Go one block to Maple St., make a right. Go one block.. (Estimated travel: >30 miles / 37 minutes.)

Take M-66 south 12 miles to Woodbury. Cross railroad tracks. Make left onto Maple St., ( 3rd street on left) Go one block. (estimated travel time: 20 minutes)
